OpportunityAs an intern, you will work alongside experienced practitioners, clients, and communities. This hands‑on experience equips you with practical skills, a network, and opportunities for success.
Key Responsibilities- Fulfill health and safety requirements
- Provide logistical support for reporting and field work
- Enter data and perform administration tasks
- Observe construction during field work
- Assist with design and drafting for water, wastewater, and transportation infrastructure projects
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Revit, AutoCAD;
Adobe experience preferred; eagerness to learn and initiative - Strong interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written
- Prioritize multiple tasks, responsibilities, and projects; adapt to changing demands
- Work effectively in a team environment
- Adaptability, organization, critical thinking, self‑motivation, willingness to learn, love of outdoors, wilderness and travel experience, attention to detail, succinct writing ability, multitasking
- Flexibility to travel and work beyond regular business hours
- Strong MS Office Suite skills
- Clean graduated driver’s license (or equivalent) required
- Current First Aid training an asset but not required
Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university degree program in Civil or Environmental Engineering and available to work starting in May 2025 for a 4‑month, 8‑month, or 16‑month work term. Please indicate term length availability in your cover letter.
Typical office environment using computers; sedentary for long periods. Field work may include exposure to inclement weather and manual labour tasks.
