Accounts Payable Assistant

• Rate; Up to £225 per day (inside IR35/via umbrella)
• Location; Yeovil - Hybrid working (3x per week onsite)
• Duration; 6 month initial contract

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join a busy Operational Finance team.

You will support the day to day running of Accounts Payable, working across invoice processing, reconciliations, payments and query resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Invoice matching and processing.
• Full supplier statement reconciliations.
• Resolving internal and mailbox queries.
• Running payment runs and financial reports.
• Processing BACS, SEPA and priority payments.
• Identifying issues and escalating risks where required.
• Supporting improvements to existing AP processes.

What we are looking for

• Previous Accounts Payable experience.
• Experience working with large volumes of financial data.
• Good Microsoft Excel and Access skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills.
