What you'll doWorking in the Yeovil area, you will provide a technical support function to all staff during and out of hours to ensure the operation and maintenance of water recycling centres.
You will be responsible for:
- activities delivered by Operators to ensure you meet the relevant key performance indicators and service level agreement targets
- managing the working relationships between external and internal staff
- resolving technical problems in the operation and maintenance of assets using advanced fault-finding and solution skills
- making sound judgments and decisions to manage incidents
- contributing to the planning and implementation of necessary changes to meet business goals, including the use of company systems and Microsoft programs
- assisting in supervising, supporting, training and mentoring staff at all levels
- providing scheduling support to plan and organise work to ensure all business targets are achieved
- taking part in the full standby rota.
You will have excellent knowledge of the treatment process with a passion for delivering the highest performance and quality.
Ideally, you will be working towards an NVQ level 3 Sewage Treatment Works (all wastewater units).
You will also needto be able to make the correct decisions under pressure and havea knowledge of IOSHH health and safety.
