Indirect Tax Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Indirect Tax Manager to join its global tax team. This newly created role will focus on EMEA VAT advisory, lead VAT-related projects, and contribute to the execution of the global tax strategy. Responsibilities Provide proactive VAT guidance on new initiatives and ongoing operations. Review supply chain structures and business activities from an indirect tax perspective.

Monitor registration requirements and legislative changes across EMEA, communicating impacts to stakeholders. Manage interactions with tax authorities on indirect tax matters. Promote VAT awareness through training and knowledge sharing. Design and implement indirect tax controls and processes aligned with global tax objectives. Develop guidance for business activities to ensure compliance. Manage relationships with external advisers and key business partners. Define and review indirect tax requirements for systems and transformation projects.

Collaborate with IT to improve tax reporting capabilities and data quality. Oversee processes to ensure timely and accurate EMEA VAT compliance. Work with accounting teams to strengthen in-house capabilities and manage outsourced compliance providers. Requirements Minimum 4 years' experience, ideally from Big 4 or multinational environments. Chartered Tax Advisor qualification (or equivalent). Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.

Excellent time management and project coordination skills. Additional languages are advantageous.
