International Trading & Key Account Manager Packaging Raw Materials
Location: London (4 days on-site / 1 day remote)
Salary: £75,000 £ 85,000

A rare opportunity has arisen for an ambitious professional to step into a pivotal global supply chain role within a highly international trading business.

This position offers significant scope for career progression, leadership development, and exposure to diverse markets across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia.

The successful candidate will take ownership of managing and growing a portfolio of packaging raw materials including plastics, paper, tinplate, aluminium, and coated steel products while leading and coordinating a global team.

This is a chance to work with stakeholders worldwide, travel internationally, and make a tangible impact on a business with a turnover of circa £300M per annum.

The role will appeal to professionals who:

• Have a minimum of 10 years international trading experience in export markets

• Possess knowledge of packaging raw materials (Plastics / Paper / Steel / Aluminium preferred)

• Are confident building and maintaining relationships across multiple regions and cultures

• Are proactive, ambitious, and eager to develop new markets

• Are willing to travel extensively across Asia, MENA, Africa, and Europe

Key responsibilities include:

• Driving existing business and developing new opportunities globally

• Leading, mentoring, and supporting a multi-regional team

• Delivering technical and commercial presentations to a wide range of stakeholders

• Achieving KPIs and reporting activity to senior management

• Collaborating with local and international colleagues to meet growth targets

• Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and development of team members
