Mechanical Estimator (HVAC Building Services)

Parkinson Gray Associates is the leading building services recruitment agency in the Yorkshire region. We recruit for both building services contractors and consultancies. Working within the white-collar market, we have long-term relationships with the leading businesses in our sector. One of them has asked us to assist them in recruiting an experienced mechanical estimator.

As a Mechanical Estimator, you will collaborate with the senior management team to produce fast, accurate, and competitive tenders. You will also work closely with the company's clients to offer solutions that add value to their businesses. You will use estimation software to produce design-and-build tenders and will be a key part of the business’s machinery, feeding profitable projects into the company.

We are looking for either an experienced Mechanical Estimator for this role, or my client has indicated their willingness to develop a candidate for the position. You will have gained experience with a building services contractor and will be familiar with large-scale projects. While we are not looking for a Design Engineer for this role, you will have good engineering/design awareness and, based on your extensive experience in building services, will be able to offer value engineering solutions to your clients.
