Salary: £45,000 – £48,000

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm

Location:

Yorkshire-based training centre (with some classroom & practical delivery)

The Opportunity

A leading technical training provider is seeking an experienced Authorised / Comopetent Person HV / LV Electrical Trainer to deliver high-quality electrical and safe systems of work training to engineers operating in critical environments.

This is a non-site-based role, ideal for an experienced electrical professional looking to step away from tools while remaining technically influential.

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver HV & LV electrical training to practising engineers and technicians

* Teach safe systems of work, isolation, switching and compliance standards

* Support candidates operating in critical environments such as hospitals, MOD facilities and airports

* Deliver training related to air filtration systems, building services and infrastructure

* Ensure training aligns with current legislation, standards and best practice

* Assess learner competence and provide technical guidance and mentoring

Essential Experience

* Strong background in HV and LV electrical systems

* Previous experience working in hospitals (NHS or private healthcare)

* Exposure to MOD sites and/or airport environments

* Understanding of air filtration systems and critical building services

* Ability to communicate technical content clearly to engineers at all levels

Desirable

* Authorised Person (HV/LV) background

* Experience delivering training, mentoring or technical leadership

* Knowledge of compliance frameworks, permits, switching and safety documentation
