Infrastructure Engineer - Hybrid - York

Our customer is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to support core infrastructure operations.

This position focuses on BAU and daily support tasks, ensuring the stability and performance of key business systems, services, and users.

Skills and Experience required from the Infrastructure Engineer:

• Must have experience supporting business infrastructure.
• Must have extensive exposure to the Microsoft stack including Office 365
• Must have working knowledge of virtualisation (e.g., Hyper-V, VMware)
• Skills within Cloud and Networking are desirable but not essential.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and working in a structured support environment.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities for the Infrastructure Engineer:

• Deliver day-to-day support for both on-premises and cloud infrastructure environments.
• Handle BAU requests, incidents, and service tickets promptly and professionally.
• Manage and maintain the current IT infrastructure, including cloud and virtualised systems.
• Support and administer backup and recovery processes to ensure business continuity.
• Track system performance, diagnose problems, and apply effective fixes.
• Work with cross-functional teams to assist in project delivery when needed.
• Create and update documentation for configurations, procedures, and best practices.

The Infrastructure Engineer is required to be onsite, 3 days a week in York
