Assistant Management Accountant

A growing and forward-thinking organisation based in Huntington is currently recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant to join their finance team on a permanent, full-time basis. As the Assistant Management Accountant, your role will include (but not be limited to):

Assisting with the preparation of month-end management accounts
Supporting the month-end close process, including journals and accruals
Completing balance sheet reconciliations and investigating variances
Producing financial data and analysis to support business decisions
Assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities
Working closely with the wider finance team to resolve queries and improve processes

To be successful in this Assistant Management Accountant position, you should ideally have:

A strong can-do attitude with a willingness to learn and get involved
The ability to work well under pressure and manage competing priorities
A proactive, ambitious mindset with a problem-solving approach
Exposure to or an interest in working with Sage
Good Excel skills and confidence working with numerical data
A collaborative, team-focused approach with clear communication skills
