Primary Health Care Physician - Canora Health and Wellness Centre  Regular clinic hours are from 08:00 – 20:00 Monday to Friday and 08:00 – 17:00 Saturday/Sunday. Physicians are required to participate in the on‑call rota for the hospital, community and long‑term care facility.

Job Description  Canora is seeking a full time Primary Health Care Physician to join their team at the Canora Health and Wellness Centre, a modern, well‑organized and fully equipped clinic located in the Canora Hospital. The clinic is comprised of 4 physicians and 1 Nurse Practitioner who provide primary health care services 7 days a week, with 24 hour emergency services, using a Collaborative Emergency Care (CEC) model.

There is a focus on an integrated team approach to client care with multidisciplinary rounds, home care, therapies, public health nursing, mental health and addictions, chronic disease management and dietitian services being provided on an outpatient/visiting services basis. A variety of delivery approaches, including group shared medical visits, shared medical visits and consultations are being utilized to deliver the highest quality care in accordance with best practice guidelines.
Relocation Package  This opportunity is eligible to receive the Rural Physician Incentive Program of up to $200,000.
Job Qualifications  The physician must hold full or provisional licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS) and maintain membership and insurance with the Canadian Medical Protective Association. Candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada. In accordance with immigration requirements, preference will be given to Canadian citizens and permanent residents of Canada.
