4 step primary health care compensation grid starting at $328,293 to $380,077 for 220 clinic days per year excluding weekends and statutory holidays.

Job Description  The community of Yorkton, located in South East health network 4, is seeking a family physician to join the primary health care team. This position provides an opportunity to practice primary care within an innovative, multi-disciplinary team setting. As a member of the clinic team, services provided include primary care, addictions medicine, acute/long term care, regional obstetrics support services, after hours call, etc.
The successful candidate must thrive in a collaborative team-based setting and have a focus on continuous quality improvement with a goal of improving care and access for all clients. The physician must have the capacity to assume care of an already established practice if applicable.
It is expected that the successful candidate will participate as a part of the larger physician group to provide regional services offered in Yorkton (i.e., obstetrics support services, ER coverage, hospitalist, etc.)
The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is dedicated to learning and is a partner in the educational needs of medical students, residents, nursing staff and allied health professionals. Although not mandatory, we trust that the successful candidate will become involved in the academic efforts in the Department of Family Medicine in our area and we will support your application for an appointment with the University of Saskatchewan.

Relocation Package  The successful candidate may be eligible for:
The SMA Retention Fund, which provides financial reward to physicians who practice in the province for extended periods ranging from $3,500 - $7,000
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
Completion of a methadone and/or buprenorphine/naloxone workshop/course recognized by the College of Physicians and Surgeons (CPSS) – or willing to complete would be an asset
Valid driver's license
Successful SHA credentialing including but not limited to acceptable reference checks and criminal record check with vulnerable sector
