Warehouse Operative - Picking and Packing - Immediate Start - 0-hour contract

Airbox Fulfilment has just opened its first warehouse in Zoetermeer, NL. We already operate three warehouses in the United Kingdom and are now looking for new team members to help us grow our business in Europe. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a fast-growing company and grow with us.

This role is offered as a zero-hours contract with an immediate start. We guarantee a minimum of 3 hours' pay per shift, with notice of at least 4 days. If a shift is cancelled with less than 4 days' notice, we will pay for the shift.

We are looking for warehouse operatives to perform various tasks within our warehouse. We manage the stock and orders for various clothing and beauty brands, so previous experience in a pick-and-pack warehouse would be beneficial. Experience using a handheld scanner would be an advantage.

Key responsibilities include:

• Picking orders with a handheld scanner
• Dispatching orders using a computer
• Packing goods according to customer specifications
• Scanning goods into warehouse inventory
• Working at a fast pace to ensure all orders are dispatched on time
• Performing other warehouse tasks as needed
• Collaborating effectively as part of a team

The postholder may be expected to carry out other tasks reasonably requested by their line manager, in accordance with the needs of the business. All employees are also expected to contribute to maintaining a safe, clean, and compliant working environment, at all times adhering to applicable local legislation, health and safety standards, and company policies.

The salary for this position is €14.70 per hour

Working hours:

Monday to Sunday work available - 08:30 to 18:00, including 60 minutes of break time. This amounts to 8.5 working hours per typical shift. We ask all employees to work a full working day when working on a 0-hours contract.

Holiday entitlement and allowance:

• Equivalent to 25 days of annual leave (based on a 5-day workweek). This will be accrued at a pro-rata'd rate and paid to you each month
• Your hours worked will be paid in full on the 25th of each month in the following month I.E. hours worked in September will be paid in August.

We aim to recruit someone quickly, so the process may move swiftly if you're successful. If successful, you will be given the option to convert from an on-call contract to a guaranteed hours fixed term contract at 12 months or sooner depending on business demands.
