Elixir Contractor

Were a startup on a mission to scale quickly to Series A

Were looking for an experienced Elixir developer with strong ownership and a track record of delivering high-performance production-grade systems end-to-end. You’ll work closely with a small fast-moving team to design and implement scalable backend services.

• Design implement and maintain Elixir-based APIs workers and background jobs
• Build reliable and high-performance systems using OTP Phoenix and Ecto
• Integrate with internal and external services queues and event-driven pipelines
• Collaborate across product frontend and Dev Ops teams
• Own delivery from architecture and coding to deployment and monitoring

• 5 years of backend development experience with at least 2 years in Elixir
• Strong knowledge of OTP Ecto and Phoenix frameworks
• Proven experience building high-performance systems
• Solid experience with Postgre
  
  SQL and SQL performance tuning
• Familiarity with AWS services and serverless environments (e.g. Lambda)
• Strong ownership mindset and ability to work independently

• Experience in the Fin Tech industry
• Experience with (Express AWS Lambda)
