For our Business Unit High Voltage Products in Zurich-Oerlikon, we are looking for an R&D Engineer to strengthen our team for High Voltage Circuit Breakers development. Execute product-development-related engineering activities for specific R&D projects from concept to series implementation, ensuring technical alignment with cross-functional experts and project stakeholders

Support the Design Lead in product development topics and ensure structured documentation of development activities

Plan and supervise assembly, disassembly and inspection of prototypes together with other experts

Contribute to the continuous improvement of R&D processes and activities

Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a closely related subject from a Polytechnical/Technical University

Working experience in an R&D environment is a plus

Experience in project management is a plus

Good know-how in 3D CAD and FEM software tools required

Independent, proactive and goal-oriented personality

Practically oriented and hands‑on way of working

Self‑motivated, committed, willing to learn

Excellent command of English and German, both written and spoken
