Azure Quantum Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Azure Quantum Expert to support our client's team in Zurich with the development and implementation of pioneering quantum solutions. Working on international and innovative projects, we operate at the forefront of quantum research, leveraging the latest technologies to advance the field of Quantum Resource Estimation.

Responsibilities :

• Develop and optimize applications in Q# and Qiskit to support Quantum Resource Estimation.
• Deploy and manage compilation tools for the efficient translation and optimization of quantum applications, including customization and integration of client-specific compiler tools.
• Utilize and customize Quantum Intermediate Representation (QIR) for standardized processing and harmonization of quantum application workflows.
• Implement and adapt Quantum Error Correction (QEC) models to enhance error correction in quantum applications, ensuring calculation reliability.
• Analyze and visualize quantum computations and resources using modern analysis tools, with the capability to integrate custom analysis and visualization technologies.

Your Profile :

• Extensive experience in quantum computing, ideally with a focus on Azure Quantum and the Microsoft Quantum Development Kit (QDK).
• Advanced knowledge of Q# and Qiskit, as well as the application and customization of compilation and optimization tools.
• Experience with Quantum Intermediate Representation (QIR) and an understanding of the structure and application of this standard.
• Expertise in Quantum Error Correction (QEC) and its implementation to improve computational security and stability.
• Ability to configure qubit models and fine-tune qubit parameters.
• Proficiency in using and customizing analysis and visualization tools to represent complex quantum computations.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in international teams.
