• Risk Reviews & Loss Estimates:
  Apply engineering expertise to assess complex risks in heavy industries and power generation, deliver loss estimates and actionable recommendations that shape underwriting decisions.
• Loss Prevention:
  Advise on state‑of‑the‑art loss prevention strategies, conduct on‑site risk surveys and provide technical guidance to clients and internal teams.
• Collaborate & Influence:
  Work closely with underwriters, claims and natural perils specialists, foster relationships with industry experts and represent Helvetia at conferences, client meetings and industry events.
• Innovate & Educate:
  Develop and apply advanced scientific and technical methods for risk assessment, coach new team members, write expert analyses and present at industry forums.
• Drive Excellence:
  Apply the highest standards in risk engineering, ensuring quality assurance and continuous improvement in all activities.

• Degree in electrical, mechanical or process engineering and proven hands‑on engineering experience (construction project experience a plus).
• Passionate about loss prevention, solid understanding of fire protection and process safety management, ready to apply expertise in a dynamic environment.
• Team player who manages projects with confidence, embraces continuous learning and professional growth.
• Proactive, adaptable to changing priorities, consistently delivers exceptional service and excited about traveling internationally (up to 20%).
• Fluent in English with at least one additional major language, excellent communication skills to build strong, lasting client relationships.
