We are in the High Voltage Product group within Hitachi Energy a leading specialist for power distribution and our unit the Gas Insulated Switchgears (GIS) based in Zürich-Oerlikon. Development and production of different GIS products are managed globally. We ensure high reliability of our systems by using state-of-the-art development tools and methods.

• Lead as a project manager and actively contribute to the project phases of handover from sales project structuring and planning engineering procurement manufacturing FAT delivery installation testing handover to customer and ultimately closing.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and effectively communicate with all of them.
• Act as the main contact focal point for our international customers in daily communication leading face-to-face customer meetings and factory acceptance tests to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Identify qualify quantify and manage project risks and ensure that all opportunities are identified and pursued.
• Effectively monitor and control project progress use of resources and project financials in collaboration with supervisor.
• Responsible for change claim & risk management of projects and financial reporting to controlling team.

• Bachelors degree of mechanical or electrical engineering or similar is a must.
• Basic knowledge of GIS substations.
• Knowledge of business administration is helpful.
• Associate PM certification (PMP or equivalent) is desirable.
• Excellent command of both spoken and written English is required. Proficiency in German or any additional language is considered an asset.
• Strong communication interpersonal skills.
• Well-structured and stress resistant fast learner.
