Senior Electrical System Engineer – Offshore Pr Akkodis Engineering · Haugesund

Contract Period: 05 January 2026 – 31 December 2026

We are looking for a skilled Senior Electrical System Engineer to join our team for a major offshore project. In this role, you will take responsibility for electrical procurement packages and support engineering activities across multiple disciplines. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance with industry standards and delivering high-quality solutions.

• Act as Package Responsible Engineer (PRE) for electrical procurement packages, including Main Switchboards, Sub-distribution boards, and UPS systems
• Review, comment, and finalize supplier documentation
• Support discipline lead in finalizing engineering documentation
• Provide follow-on support for modifications on small power systems (lighting, sockets, heat trace, etc.)

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering preferred; technical college with relevant experience will be considered
• Experience:
  • Minimum 8–10 years in electrical engineering for greenfield offshore oil & gas or wind projects
  • Strong knowledge of electrical design standards such as DNV, ATEX, IEC, and VDE
• Skills:
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural team environment
  • Multidiscipline understanding and ability to work independently
  • Systematic, accurate, and committed to deadlines and quality requirements
  • Proactive and collaborative, sharing knowledge and seeking advice when needed
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
