Supplier Quality Engineer

We are currently supporting a client in hiring an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to join a dynamic team. This role focuses on preventive and reactive quality management across the supplier base, with involvement in APQP, PPAP, and supplier readiness.

• Monitor and support supplier APQP processes for new product developments and engineering changes
• Document and follow up on D-FMEA and P-FMEA activities
• Evaluate and validate supplier testing equipment (e.g., MSA)
• Plan and execute supplier site process and production releases for components and sub-assemblies
• Perform PPAP submissions for zero-series and engineering changes
• Review Safe Launch Concepts and ensure suppliers meet serial production standards
• Guide suppliers in achieving and sustaining serial production readiness

• 3-4 years of experience in a Supplier Quality Engineering role
• In-depth knowledge of APQP and PPAP processes
• Control Plans
• Statistical Process Control (SPC)
• DFMEA / PFMEA
• Proficiency in quality tools such as 8D reports and 5-Why analysis
• Understanding of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards
• Knowledge of IPC standards (IPC-A-610, J-STD-001) is a strong asset
• Proactive, hands‑on approach with a solution‑oriented mindset
• Strong communication skills and the ability to drive results with suppliers

• Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
