SAP Business Data Cloud Expert

Our customer, the global leader in IT infrastructure services, is seeking a SAP Business Data Cloud Expert (m / w / d ) for a short‑term consulting engagement. This opportunity is ideal for seasoned professionals with proven expertise in guiding transformation projects and delivering consulting services within the life science sector.

• SAP Business Data Cloud expertise with deep pharmaceutical industry knowledge; able to explain life science regulations and integration with technology (e.g., SAP).

• Contribute to the development and implementation of the organization's overall IT strategy and support implementation.
• Consult on designing & Implementing SAP Business Data Cloud Solutions.
• Build data models, pipelines, governance controls, and integrations; guide the pharma customers on architecture choices and avoid common SAP BDC (Business Data Cloud) pitfalls (e.g., CU sizing, delta-load issues, semantic layer gaps, BDC Connectors).
• Apply Deep Pharmaceutical / Life-Science Knowledge:
  Translate complex pharma processes e.g. clinical trials, R&D data flows, GxP compliance, QA / QC, batch processing, supply chain traceability into compliant and scalable data architectures in SAP BDC.
• Advisory & Risk Management in Regulated Environments: BDC solutions meet regulatory and validation requirements (GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, Annex 11); foresee operational risks, data‑integrity issues, audit findings, and guide customers toward hybrid / controlled data‑processing strategies.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering or related field.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in leading digital transformation programs with a focus on driving implementation of new IT landscape (mainly SAP BDC).
• Pharma / life sciences experience is a strong plus.
• Technical Expertise:
  Extensive technological transformation programs, with a proven track record of successful implementation and integration.
• Leadership:
  Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and guide cross‑functional teams towards achieving common goals.
• Regulatory Compliance:
  Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards relevant to the pharmaceutical industry, ensuring compliance in all technology implementations.
• Technology fluency: SAP BDC systems, predictive analytics, and data visualization tools.
• Strategic, analytical, and solution‑oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication skills to influence stakeholders across all levels.
