Test Engineer

For one of our clients, we are currently supporting the build and evolution of an enterprise-wide data platform on Microsoft Azure and Snowflake. To strengthen the team, we are looking for a Test Engineer (Data Platform) with a strong focus on data quality, reconciliation, and test automation.

You will work closely with data engineers, a test manager and delivery leads, remaining hands‑on while helping to establish scalable testing practices across the platform.

• Maintain and further develop the data reconciliation framework
• Review existing data checks and design end-to-end improvements
• Design and implement data quality tests across all platform layers
• Develop and enhance automated tests integrated into CI/CD pipelines
• Improve reporting and monitoring of data quality and reconciliation metrics
• Promote testing standards, best practices, and documentation
• Actively support testing and release activities together with the wider delivery team

• Strong experience testing cloud‑based data platforms
  , including data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes
• Hands‑on experience with Snowflake
  , Azure (especially Azure Data Factory), and dbt
• Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines
  , ideally with Azure Dev Ops
• Working knowledge of Python and Power BI
• Experience with data warehouse migrations to the cloud is a plus
• Background in financial services is an advantage
• Fluent in English
