Senior SAP Solutions Architect, AGS Specialists, Europe Central

Join Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a Senior SAP Solutions Architect in the AGS Specialists team for the Europe Central (Alps and CEE) region. This role is part of AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (AGS) and focuses on driving revenue, adoption, and growth across small‑, mid‑market and enterprise customers, including public sector. You will lead the technical SAP domain strategy, collaborate with sales and technical teams, and innovate with customers to build and deliver AWS solutions.

A day in the life:

• Represent the voice of the customer; collaborate with field and central teams to bring customer feedback to product teams and lead curation of custom feature and availability requests.
• Provide advanced technical knowledge to GTM teams to unblock customers’ most critical business challenges.
• Own the technical bar for specialist technical artifacts and standards within the team.
• Collaborate with GTM colleagues to provide technical insights into GTM strategy and support field marketing to execute local technical events, campaigns, and customer engagements.
• Act as a thought leader sharing best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures, and public‑speaking events (e.g., AWS Summit, AWS re:
  
  Invent).
• Guide and support an AWS internal community of technical subject matter experts aligned to your customers; create field enablement materials for the broader Solution Architect population.

Basic Qualifications:

• 7+ years of design/implementation/consulting experience migrating SAP systems (ERP, BW, etc.) into the cloud.
• 5+ years in a technical customer‑facing role supporting cloud adoptions.
• 5+ years of experience as an SAP Technical/Solution architect, including knowledge of SAP RISE and Native Cloud solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• History of successful technical consulting or architecture engagements with large‑scale customers or enterprises.
• Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
• Familiarity with common enterprise services and working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, comfortable speaking with executives, IT management, and developers.
• Experience working within software development or internet‑related industries.
• AWS Solution Architecture certification or relevant cloud expertise.
• Computer Science or relevant degree and/or experience highly desired.
