Senior Team Lead Infrastructure & Tooling

We are searching for a Senior Team Lead Infrastructure & Tooling to own and drive our Infrastructure, Dev Ops, and Tooling teams. In this role, you will lead and grow your teams while actively contributing to the stack, ensuring reliability, scalability, security, compliance, and cost efficiency across our infrastructure. You will set standards for CI/CD, observability, and developer experience, define and execute the infrastructure roadmap aligned with robotics R&D and product milestones, and provide clear technical direction through mentoring, coaching, and hands‑on collaboration.

• Lead the infrastructure, Dev Ops and Tooling teams (line management) and act as tribe lead (sub‑project lead)
• Own reliability, scalability, security, compliance and cost efficiency of all infrastructure
• Establish standards & metrics for CI/CD, observability, and developer experience across teams.
• Define and execute the infrastructure roadmap aligned with robot R&D and product milestones.
• Provide cohesive technical direction for your teams and support them in decision making
• Uphold a high-quality & delivery standard and grow your team members trough mentoring, coaching, planning, design and code reviews
• Drivel hiring in collaboration with the recruiting team to further build out the teams
• A team lead position where in your day to day you are expected to dive deep into the stack and contribute yourself.

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Proven track record (5+ years) as an individual contributor in Infrastructure, Dev Ops or related fields.
• Experience in leading and the hiring of highly skilled engineers and the interest to grow further your leadership and management skills
• Independent leader with ability to balance pragmatism and long‑term platform thinking.
• Experience building full hybrid (cloud/on‑prem) infrastructures for R&D teams and transitioning into production environments.
• Experienced with following tech stack:
  Linux environments, Azure, Kubernetes (AKS), Terraform / Open Tofu, Prometheus, Influx
  
  DB, Grafana, and Git Ops (e.g. ArgoCD or Flux), Docker and containerization
• Strong system design thinking across compute, networking, storage, and observability.
• Experience running critical production systems with on‑call responsibility.
• Experience with robotics or edge and MLOps is a plus
• Experience with Nix is a plus.
