Job Description Your mission

Are you a curious and motivated Data Engineer eager to build scalable data products that power meaningful user experiences? Do you thrive in cross-functional environments and enjoy bridging the gap between data, product, and marketing?

We’re looking for a proactive and impact-driven Data Engineer to join our dynamic data team composed of Data Engineers, Analysts, Scientists, Digital Specialists and Product Owners. You will play a key role in shaping and delivering initiatives at the intersection of data, product and marketing.

As part of our mission to unlock smarter data decision-making and tailored user experiences, you will collaborate with experts across data, engineering, product, and marketing to ensure robust, efficient, and future-proof data pipelines and ML models are in place.

Specifically you will :

Build data tools that will be used across the company and by various other teams across different data domains

Design and develop the data integration pipelines for the collection, storage and transformation of our data assets in the data lake and DWH using GCP-native tools and technology

Ensure reliable operation and maintenance of the data infrastructure including orchestration of the cloud infrastructure, documentation, checks on data quality and operational efficiency

Contribute and help us build and improve data products (transformations, dashboards, logical data warehouse models etc.)Collaborate across analytics, product, and ML teams to enable end-to-end data workflows and create datasets for ML readiness

Optimise cost-performance trade-offs across GCP services, enforce efficient partitioning, clustering, and storage practices in Big Query

Setup data pipelines between Data Lake and Customer Data Platform providing real time data for personalisation and automation of communication between our business and our users

Validate, tracks and integrates data coming from different sources and use them to create analytics applications that are easy to understand and are highly scalable

Most importantly you will help build the Automotive data platform of the future and together with us you will be proud on what we deliver to the business

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, management information systems or equivalent

Have 3+ years of hands‑on experience working with cloud platforms (GCP preferred) in relation to data ingestion, processing, warehousing, monitoring, orchestration and modelling

Strong proficiency in SQL and Python, we use SQL in day to day work

Solid analytical skills to support robust data engineering solutions

Hands‑on experience building data pipelines using dbt, Cloud Functions, etc.

Solid knowledge of best practices when it comes to ETL/ELT and DWH design patterns

Good knowledge of Dev Ops best practices and automation of documentation, testing, build, deployment, configuration and monitoring

A history of best practices from your past roles as a Data Engineer
