Location: Zürich

Following the growth of our real estate debt platform over the past years, we are currently looking for a new experienced team member who will be in charge of sourcing, underwriting, structuring and closing new financing transactions in the Swiss market.

You will work in a multi-disciplinary team which combines know-how from both existing asset classes Real Estate and Private Credit. From an organizational perspective, you will be part of the Real Estate Debt team within the Private Credit department at our location in Zurich.

Primary responsibilities
  • Establishment and expansion of the Real Estate Debt platform with a focus on the Swiss region
  • Development and maintenance of the partner network consisting of sponsors, asset owners, debt advisors and other stakeholders in the real estate industry
  • Sourcing, negotiating and closing of mortgage financings (independent deal execution from A-Z)
  • Structuring, arranging and monitoring of real estate debt financing
  • Setting up and responsibility for the due diligence processes, as well as negotiation and implementation of suitable transaction structures
  • Preparation and presentation of transactions to the Investment Committee
  • Post-closing support
  • Preparation of investor reports and marketing documents
  • Investor presentations and support to the Investor Relation Team
Profile
  • More than 5 years of professional experience in the real estate lending industry, at a bank or an alternative lender, with strong experience in the Swiss market (experience with Swiss pension funds and investment foundation is a plus)
  • Experience in granting mortgages for existing properties and development projects in Switzerland
  • Established and proprietary borrower sourcing network in the segment of real estate financing in Switzerland (including income producing real estate financing but also construction / development loans)
  • Negotiation skills as well as the ability to identify and implement solutions
  • Experience in workout situations and restructuring of real estate loans is considered an advantage
  • Ability to work under pressure and willingness to portfolio responsibility
  • Completed studies in economics, finance or law or similar education in the field of real estate
  • Proficient in MS-Office
  • Language: proficient in German / Swiss-German and English mandatory, French advantageous
