Role Overview

To strengthen our growing team, we are looking for a motivated and skilled Software Engineer (80–100%)

You’ll be working at the heart of the energy transition, developing robust IoT solutions that power smart grid systems, EV charging, and more.

Tasks
  • Develop and maintain Python algorithms to control smart grid resources like EV charging stations and batteries.
  • Maintain and improve software modules running on Linux-based platforms.
  • Communicate with devices using protocols such as Modbus TCP and REST APIs.
  • Work with both Mongo

    DB and Postgre

    SQL databases.
  • Build and maintain optimized Docker images for smooth deployment and scalability.
  • Use CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot customer issues related to our software solutions.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in software development, ideally in IoT or energy sectors.
  • Strong Python skills and in-depth experience with Linux systems (embedded or SBCs).
  • Solid understanding of Docker, cloud services (especially AWS), and SQL/No

    SQL databases.
  • Familiarity with energy concepts (e.g. active/reactive power, voltage, current, power factor) is a strong plus.
  • A structured approach, clear communication, and a collaborative spirit.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field.
  • Valid Swiss work permit and residency in Switzerland.
  • A passion for sustainability and the desire to contribute to a greener energy future.
