Prime Tower, Zurich, we build cloud-native systems that enable institutional clients to access, trade, and manage digital assets securely and efficiently.

We arecurrentlylooking for aSenior Software Engineer to join our backend engineering team.

You will design and build the services behind our Trading,Custody,Settlement,Staking, and Pledgingplatforms.

Our platform runs on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), orchestrated with Kubernetes, and consists of~25 microservicesengineered forhigh availabilityandmulti-region capability. You will work closely with fellow engineers, SRE, Security, Operations, Trading, and Settlement teams to ensure our systemsremainrobust, secure, and scalable.

• Design, build, andmaintainbackend services across trading, custody, settlement, staking, and pledging
• Take ownership of key microservices within an about 25-service distributed architecture
• Ensure system performance, reliability,high availability, and readiness formulti-regionoperation
• Develop Java-based services usingor Spring
• Integrate with internal and external systems via REST, Web Socket, FIX, and occasionally SWIFT
• Deploy andoperateservices inGCP + Kubernetes
• Improve automation and delivery pipelines usingArgoCD
• Diagnose and address issues in distributed systems
• Participate in architecture discussions, incident reviews, and continuous improvement
• Share knowledge and mentor other engineers

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalentpracticalexperience
• 5+ years of backend engineering experience, ideally building production-grade systems
• Strong Java experience and good understanding of microservice architecture
• Solid knowledge of distributed systems patterns (resilience, retries, timeouts, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with
  
  GCP,Kubernetes, and cloud-native design is a plus
• Familiarity with REST, Web Socket, FIX; SWIFT is a plus
• Experience with Postgre
  
  SQL or similar relational databases
• Understanding ofhigh availabilityandmulti-regiondeployment strategies
• Experience with CI / CD workflows andGit Opsusing Argo CD
• Interest in digital assets and / or blockchain technologies
• Strong senseof quality, reliability, and security
• Professionalproficiencyin English (German is a plus)
