.NET Software Engineer Data Processing & Analytics

For a bank in Zurich, we are looking for a .NET Software Developer.

• Design, develop, and test modern applications in the field of data processing and analytics

• Collaborate closely with technical and business stakeholders in an agile environment

• Ensure stability, scalability, and performance of the applications

• Actively contribute to the enhancement and evolution of existing systems and architectures

• Take ownership of components, modules, or defined work packages

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and overall software quality

• Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a comparable technical discipline

• Very strong programming skills within the .NET technology stack, SQL, and data processing

• Interest or experience in the field of computational science

• Knowledge of F# is a plus

• Experience with modern software engineering methods and tools, including:

  • Version control systems (Git)
  • Code reviews
  • CI/CD pipelines
  • Professional use of common IDEs

• Proven ability to develop robust, scalable, and maintainable solutions with a strong focus on:

  • Correctness
  • Data quality
  • Observability
  • Performance

• Experience in API design, service integration, and microservice architectures

• High level of personal responsibility, a structured way of working, and a strong ownership mindset

• Excellent communication skills and a strong team-oriented approach
