The mission of Speechify is to make sure that reading is never a barrier to learning. Speechify's text-to-speech products turn PDFs, books, Google Docs, news articles, and websites into audio so users can read faster, read more, and remember more. Speechify’s products include its iOS app, Android app, Mac app, Chrome extension, and Web app. Speechify has been recognized by Google as Chrome Extension of the Year and by Apple as App of the Day.

Today, nearly 200 people around the globe work in a 100% distributed setting – Speechify has no office. Our team includes frontend and backend engineers, AI research scientists, and professionals from Amazon, Microsoft, and Google, as well as PhD programs and high-growth startups.

With the growth of our iOS app (the #18 productivity app in the App Store) and our recognition as Apple’s 2025 Design Award for inclusivity, we are seeking a Senior iOS Engineer to support our growing user base and work on exciting projects to advance our product.

This is a key role for someone who thinks strategically, thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys making product decisions, and has experience building great user experiences that delight users. We are a flat organization that values leadership through technical excellence and delivering results quickly. Work ethic, strong communication, and a passion for winning are paramount. Our interview process involves several technical interviews completed within about one week.

• Opportunity to lead key engineering and product decisions

• Experience:
  
  you've worked on products that scaled to a large user base
• Track record: you have worked on products from inception to traction and have been responsible for engineering the product
