Adirondack Learning Academy:
Are you searching for an accredited K-12 homeschool in Alabama? Based in Florida, Adirondack Learning Academy (ALA) is an NCAA-approved homeschool program provider that offers a comprehensive online curriculum for kindergarten, elementary school, middle school, and high school students living in Alabama and throughout the U.S. High school seniors, on successful completion of the program, are awarded a homeschool diploma and an official transcript that states that they have completed the requirements for graduation in their state.

At Adirondack, we use the Acellus Curriculum. Acellus is a curriculum that not only includes core and elective courses, but a diverse range of electives, assessment applications, and administrative tools to facilitate teaching and learning in an online environment.
Through our partnership with Acellus , we are able to offer an in-home online option that expands learning beyond the walls of any school to provides a global academic experience. At the same time, online students can still participate in extracurricular benefits offered online.

Advanced Placement (AP) Classes:
ALA provides AP classes in the four core subject areas. Taught by highly-skilled teachers, these classes aim to develop independent thinking and cultivate a strong desire in each student for higher learning.

Skilled at easing the transition from high school to college, our staff has extensive experience in what it takes to get you accepted at the college of your choice.
Students need to complete 23.5 credits of academic and elective courses to earn a college preparatory academic diploma. Seniors must achieve passing grades in all their subjects if they are to be awarded a diploma from ALA.
