• The Istituto di Moda Burgo was established in Milan in 1961, by its director and publisher Fernando Burgo.
• The school was created with the desire to provide the fashion world with specialists. At the school, students learn that a fashion designer needs to possess familiarity with the functional value as well as the esthetic value of different fabrics.
• Our students work closely with consulting studios or businesses, and stay in close contact with commercial, quality and production areas.
• All of our courses are taught in Italian and English, and we strive to give the fashion leaders of tomorrow the confidence and competence they need to succeed.
• Our instructors are among the best professionals in the field. They are dynamic, effective, and - most importantly, fashion-forward.
• Our highly qualified staff give their lessons in a classroom that offers the most modern resources used in the professional world. The teachers, who speak Italian and English, have a constant rapport with the students (for example, in the pattern making class, there are no more than 8 students per teacher).
