VNC Language Training in Ho Chi Minh City provides quality Vietnamese courses to anyone who has an interest in learning the Vietnamese language, and those who will arrive soon, and expatriates working and living in Vietnam today. The private/one-to-one programs are aimed to fully develop four basic skills: Listening - Speaking - Writing- Reading comprehension. However, lessons can be adjusted to individual purposes. In addition to quality Vietnamese courses, we provide notarized / certified translation and interpreting services.

Our program levels :

- Basic level : 100 hours
- Higher Basic level : 100 hours
- Progressing : 200 hours
- Developing level : 200 hours

- Fluency level : 200 hours

CURRICULUM:

1/ Basic level : 100 hours

Survival course: You will get the most common-used vocabulary, phrases and sentences which will help you to communicate with the local people, do shopping, make orders in coffee stores and restaurants and ask for directions.

Pronunciation drills: This is used for all courses. This part focuses on training the students how to pronounce and write words. After doing the pronunciation drills, the students are able to read and write, and will be able to recognize and understand the words through listening to people speaking.

Pronunciation drills may take 10 to 15 hours depending on the students’ capability and how often they practice.

- Conversation: daily and the most essential words are taught
- Word-building: primary vocabulary
- Grammar: simple sentence patterns are introduced.

You will develop the foundation of pronunciation, build the most elementary vocabulary, study and use the most basic grammar structures to construct, understand and speak essential and common sentences. You will also be able to read and write well.

2/ Higher Basic level : 100 hours

You are fluent in short and elementary conversations now. You continue with daily conversations but at a higher basic level. You will build a higher level vocabulary through word building rules and by studying higher grammar patterns. The spoken language remains the focal point.

- Conversation: longer daily dialogues with more information exchanged.
- Word-building: primary and more complex
- Grammar: higher-basic sentence patterns are introduced.

3/ Progressing level : 200 hours

You are fluent in higher level (basic) daily conversations and are possessing a good writing skill now. You will be able to understand or join discussions and make your own complex sentences. Your reading and writing reach the pre-intermediate level.

- You will continue with some of the same topics but they are developed at a higher level and expansion
- Word building: complex words and academic words
- Grammar: complex sentence patterns are introduced.

4/ Developing level : 200 hours

You are fluent in conversations and possess a strong writing skill now. Each lesson will be a topic based on a conversation and an essay. You are reaching the intermediate level and are able to read, understand and write an essay.

5/ Expanding level : 200 hours

You will have the capability to discuss, understand, and write high level text sand articles in real life fields as education, society, culture, among others. You are reaching the advanced level and are using idioms, complex patterns and vocabulary.

6/ Fluency level : 200 hours

You gradually reinforce and perfect your speaking, listening, and writing comprehension capability through sophisticated discussions and academic texts. You will be able to use idioms, patterns and vocabulary like a native speaker.
