IELTS (International English Language Testing System):
The IELTS (International English Language Testing System) exam is used to assess the English skills of non-native English speakers. It is widely recognised around the world and is the current test used for entry to many university and tertiary institutions and also for applications for permanent residency in Australia.  

The exam tests ability at 4 skills: reading, listening, writing and speaking, and is available at two levels:
 
• IELTS Academic - This test is used for admission to university and other tertiary courses in Australia.

• IELTS General Training - This test is used for entry to high school and for application for permanent residency. 

Full-time IELTS Exam Preparation Courses in Sydney:
The IELTS exam preparation courses at ELS Universal English College focus on preparing students for the Academic module of the IELTS exam which is aimed towards students who wish to study at an undergraduate or postgraduate level in a university of other third-level institution in Australia. 

Our IELTS preparation courses can be studied for 4, 8 or 12 weeks. We always ensure that our curriculum is up to date. Our teachers are qualified and highly experienced.
