Whether you are a professional artist, an art student looking for an internship or are preparing for art school, you will benefit from the summer art courses offered by Estudio Nómada. Located in the vibrant Gothic area in the heart of Barcelona, on the north-eastern Mediterranean coast of Spain, Estudio Nómada is an independent art school and artistic studio work-space. We provide a 9-day summer art intensive which submerges you in the artistic scene of Barcelona. In addition, we offer our International Art Program in summer and year-round.

Summer Art Courses:

- Summer art intensive:  For 9 days, you will be submerged in the artistic scene of Barcelona. With continual guidance from professional artists, you will develop an idea or concept for an art piece which will be exhibited in downtown Barcelona at the end of the workshop. This highly-intensive, multidisciplinary workshop explores, analyzes and subverts themes around the human body.

- Burn-in:  A week of critical thinking on the beautiful wine estate Els Igols near Barcelona. This program is designed for practicing artists, writers, thinkers, or anyone who craves a ‘week off’ with food for mind and body. You will spend a week on a beautiful Spanish wine estate with fellow thinkers and creative minds on a Spanish wine estate.

- International Art Program - summer or year-round art program:  Individual art workshops / classes in English or Dutch for professional artists & future artists / art students. Taught by experienced artists, it is comprised of workshops and personalized art tuition. Students stay for minimum of 2 months but preferably for 6 months or more.

- Art with Spanish Language Immersion course - offered in summer and year-round: We also offer a Spanish Language & Art course where you can develop your artistic skills, submerge yourself in the local art scene of Barcelona, and receive a Spanish language certificate.
