PILS - Spanish School at the Beach:
Pichilemu Institute of Language Studies (PILS) is a Spanish language school on the rural coast of Central Chile that offers Spanish courses to students from around the world. Pichilemu is famous as the surfing capital of Chile and is approximately 3.5 hours by bus from Santiago, which has an international airport. PILS offers group Spanish classes, private Spanish lessons as well as online Spanish tuition. In addition, students can choose to combine their Spanish classes with activities such as surfing, kite boarding and more.

Group Spanish Classes:
PILS offers group Spanish classes to students of all levels - beginner, intermediate or advanced. Students in the same class must be at a similar level of Spanish. Our group classes are available all year round and can generally be started on any Monday. It is also possible to combine group Spanish classes with private lessons. Our Spanish instructors are always qualified, creative, and patient. 

Group classes are a great way to learn. There is a maximum of 6 students per class which means you will always have the teacher's attention and the freedom to ask questions. Group classes are able to do more role-play activities and competitions and at PILS even our small group classes are customized.   

Please note that group classes are based on availability. Single students who register for group classes will be given an equitable amount of private classes if no suitable partners are available. However, solo travelers can be assured that we'll do our best to find appropriate group partners. During our high season November-April more frequent group classes run starting every Monday.
