Harvest English Institute, Newark & Long Branch:
The Harvest English Institute is a quality English language school with campuses in Newark and Long Branch, New Jersey. Our Newark institute is just minutes away from midtown Manhattan providing students with easy access to everything New York City has to offer. We offer a range of beginner to advanced level English courses for adult students already living in the USA, as well as for international students (we have successfully brought students from all over the world to our campuses in NJ). Courses include an Intensive English Program (IEP), Business English, TOEFL Exam Preparation, and Pronunciation / Accent Reduction courses. Harvest also offers English classes in Orlando, Florida. We are authorized to issue the I-20 to apply for F1 student visas.

We offer programs that are 20, 25 or 30 hours per week which are composed by core course and electives.

•  Intensive English Program (IEP)
Subdivided into 6 levels, our "Top Notch" IEP course makes English unforgettable through multiple exposures to the language and numerous opportunities to practice it.

The course prepares students to communicate in English with a diverse array of speakers around the world who have a wide range of native and non-native accents.

An emphasis on cultural fluency enables students to navigate the social, travel, and business situations that they will encounter in their lives.

Our IEP curriculum includes the following proficiency levels:
- Beginners
- Intermediate
- High Intermediate
- Advanced

•  TOEFL iBT Preparation Course:

It measures your ability to communicate in English in colleges and universities, and is accepted by 7000+ destinations in more than 130 countries.

Taking the TOEFL exam is a necessary step for any non-US educated student who wants to study in North America. 

When a student is almost ready to take the TOEFL test, we conduct a fast preparation course, which will allow the student to take the test with confidence and achieve the required score.

Writing, reading, listening and Interpretation classes are applied in simulated tests to make sure the student is ready! Use of our computers will make you feel like you are taking the real test.

•  Business English Course:
Designed for intermediate and advanced students

Students who do not hold an F-1 student visa can take our Business English course privately. You can schedule as many hours as you need to fulfill your expectations, and meet your learning goals.

If you do hold a student visa, you can take this course as an Elective after completing our general intermediate level 4 course.

The aim of our Business English classes is to help you to adapt linguistically to a fast-changing business world. It targets the acquisition and improvement of the students’ business English language skills.

•  English Pronunciation / Accent Reduction Classes:

As students progress, they build independence which will motivate them to practice their skills outside the classroom.

•  Recreational English Course:

Speaking English fluently can be a great advantage in your personal life or career. This short, but intensive English program is aimed at those who wish to improve their English language skills for everyday situations.

With morning, afternoon, evening and weekend classes available, you can choose to study from 4 to 16 hours weekly. A student visa is not required when you take 17 hours of classes or less weekly.

•  English Writing Classes:
This elective writing course gives students the concepts and skills they need for success in academic writing. It provides clear, step-by-step instructions in the writing process, focusing first on simple paragraphs and progressing to essays.

Homestay Program with an American Family:
Selected families host our international students providing them with a family-like environment. Families that welcome our students may or may not offer meals, it all depends on the arrangements prior to the student’s arrival. All of the host families are carefully screened and their homes inspected prior to the arrival of the student.
