Strongly related to Computer Engineering, Embedded Systems Engineering is an exciting field of engineering in which devices capable of interacting with the “real world” are designed and programmed. This 2-year (4 semester) graduate degree is taught entirely in English. It consists of 120 ECTS (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System) points.

Master of Science in Embedded Systems Engineering Degree Course:
• This 2-year masters program studied in English has a flexible curriculum and a high number of elective courses. Students are taught through lectures, lab courses, exercises, projects and seminars.

• The state-of-the art equipment at our laboratories allows for a hands-on teaching style that combines research and teaching.

• The curriculum consists of courses in the following areas: Design of microelectronic and micromechanic devices; Software based components; System integration, System optimisation regarding speed, cost and energy efficiency; and Safety and reliability.

• Six different concentration areas are offered: Design and simulation; Circuits and systems; Reliable embedded systems; Distributed systems; Robotics and computer visions; Sensors and actuators. 

Admission Requirements:
This program is open to graduate students who have obtained a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in computer science, embedded systems, electronic or electrical engineering, physics or in a closely related engineering field.
