You have the option of taking intensive French lessons as part of your program (15 hours per week of French classes and 15 hours per week of hands-on training). Alternatively, you have the option of taking 30 hours of hands-on training. All of your week-ends are free, giving you the chance to experience the local lifestyle and culture.
3 Month Courses: We offer 12-week Gastronomic programs with 30 hours of classes per week:
- French Cooking + Intensive French
- French Pastry + Intensive French
- French Wines + Intensive French
- French Fine Dining & Service + Intensive French
You will have 15 hours per week of "hands-on" training in your chosen subject combined with 15 hours per week of intensive French classes. All the weekends are free and you have a 1 week mid-term break to travel around France.
Optional Internship: All of the courses listed above give you the option of completing a four month internship with a luxury hotel or restaurant.
One-Year Diploma Programs: French Wines Diploma; Diploma in Gastronomic Pastry; Diploma in Gastronomic Cooking; Diploma in French Fine Dining Service. All of our 12 month diploma courses include a 6 month internship.
2-Year Diploma in Gastronomic Food and Beverage Management: In this program you have the choice of two options: 1) Cooking + Pastry or 2) Service + Wines. The first year is a preparatory course similar to the normal one-year program offered by Gastronomicom. The second year comprises a 3 month University Level Management course; a 3 month Practical Management course; a 6 month Internship at a Luxury Hotel-Restaurant in France. All management courses are taught in French.
