ISSOS, Summer School 2026 at St Andrews & Cambridge Universities:
Summer camp for international students in Connecticut, USA! Give your teenager the opportunity to study at one of the top Ivy League universities in the U.S. this summer. A leading provider of residential summer programs, ISSOS offers a three-week summer school at Yale University for international students aged 13-18. This exclusive program has been carefully designed to deliver a balanced summer experience of academic study, fun activities and culture, in the picturesque and historic campus of Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut.

Summer School Programs (Paused for 2026):
Students choose one academic subject and one elective subject to study during their 3-week stay. All programs are taught by highly qualified professionals.

• Academic Study Courses:
ESL English Language, Business and Entrepreneurship, Debate, Creative Writing, Study Skills to prepare for final years of high school and entrance to university / college.

Classes meet daily for three hours. We ensure small class sizes so that each student gets the individual attention they need.

• Elective Options: 
Film, Outdoor Leadership, Photography, Tennis, Theatre.

Scheduled for four afternoons per week, these unique, action-packed courses enable students to participate in exciting subjects while gaining new skills. 

• Additional Activities:  
We also offer a full program of fun activities, day trips, evening entertainment, and the ISSOS Highland Games. allowing participants the unique opportunity to combine learning, creative enrichment and action-packed adventure.

Accommodation:
Students stay in a centrally-located Yale University College, allowing them to enjoy the stunning architecture as well as a number of lawns where they can play sports, read a book or simply relax.

Our safe campus is set on 265 acres and provides many amenities for students and staff during their stay. Students can explore the many University buildings, shop in the small university town, and enjoy the variety of restaurants and cafes. 

All participants are well supervised by a team of summer school counselors who ensure that they are safe and happy at all times.

International Student Community:
With over 80 nationalities represented at our summer programs, students benefit from a cosmopolitan and multicultural atmosphere and make friends from all over the world. To guarantee a truly international experience, we limit the number of students from one nationality to 10%.
