Year-round Mandarin Chinese Language Courses in Southgate:
For children at beginner to advanced levels

Foundation Chinese Classes (ages 4-5)
• Young children will learn basic Pinyin (symbols for Chinese pronunciation), daily conversation and start to recognise simple Chinese characters. 

Year 2 Chinese Classes (ages 6-7)
• Students will learn basic vocabulary, phrases and dialogue with characters and situations relevant to their daily lives, furthermore they will start to type Chinese with a computer and write Chinese characters. Students will learn Chinese with ICT technology.

Abacus Mental Math Class (ages 5-7)
• Using an abacus can help to speed up mental maths and problem solving. Used in Asia since ancient times, the abacus or soroban, is now widely used throughout Asian schools as an aid to faster mental calculation.

Cambridge Pre-U Course (ages 13+)
• Cambridge Pre U is now gaining popularity within secondary schools and many universities have recognised it as a qualification. The degree is now accepted by approximately 111 universities in the UK and all Ivy league universities in the US.
