Drawing & Illustration Course:
3 WEEK SUMMER COURSE
23 July – 9 August 2019, for UK & international students ages 16+ to adults 

• You will have the opportunity to experiment with a range of materials including charcoal, inks, sticks, oil pastel and chalk pastels, acrylics to name a few. 

• Cover the fundamentals of drawing and illustration such as the use of colour, tone and light, line, the edge, shape, form, mark making and negative space.

• Develop your critical awareness of visual communication and explore a variety of illustration techniques to enhance your understanding of the design process and effectively communicate your ideas.

• Avail of our award winning drawing studio and take part in life drawing of a clothed life model and other still life.

• The course includes sessions at locations to further inspire you, with day trips to attractive areas such as Dorset’s impressive Jurassic coast.

• On successful completion of your course, you are awarded an official AUB Certificate of Attendance - a valuable addition to your CV or portfolio.
