COPPEAD Graduate School of Business:
The Graduate School of Business Administration of the Federal University of Rio of Janeiro/UFRJ - was created in 1973, and since then has been developing the highest standard and up-to-date center for advanced studies and research activities in Business Administration in Brazil.

COPPEAD is located in its own five-story building on the main UFRJ campus. Its facilities provide a pleasant and functional environment for teaching and research activities. Each of the main educational programs has its own dedicated facilities, including classrooms featuring the most up-to-date equipment and small discussion rooms.

COPPEAD's library is among the best specialized Business libraries in Brazil, with a vast collection of books, national and international periodicals, working papers, cases, theses and dissertations, besides electronic databases in Business and Economics.

A Multimedia Lab offers users information research services and access to multiple CD-ROM databases in Business and Economics. Among the available and most frequently used data bases are Ebsco, Jstor, and Economatica.

Faculty, researchers and students also have access to the nation-wide journal access system of the CAPES/Ministry of Education agency, which subscribes to most of the relevant publication databases in the world, like Proquest, Emerald, and Science Direct.
