Are you searching for Indonesian classes for beginners in Jakarta? A unique Department of Education school, Language Studies Indonesia (LSI) provides Bahasa Indonesia courses for adult students / expats at our language center in Cilandak in South Jakarta as well as at our satellite classrooms in Central Jakarta. We also offer private Indonesian lessons that can take place at your home or office anywhere in the Jakarta area. In addition, you have the option of taking our Indonesian language courses for beginners online via Skype.

Bahasa Indonesia Classes for Beginners:
- Foundations I: 13 lessons / 26 hours (depending on progress)
- Foundations II: 13 lessons / 26 hours (depending on progress)

• New arrivals to Jakarta quickly realise the need for at least basic conversational Bahasa Indonesia study. Courses are designed exclusively for adult learners seeking extremely rapid language acquisition. 

• Our Beginner courses introduce the key vocabulary and structures necessary for everyday communication, both at home and in the workplace. 

• They provide students with the basic skills needed to communicate effectively in professional, social and personal settings.

• For maximum benefit, it is recommended that both levels of instruction be completed. Lessons are two hours in length.

All LSI instruction is Private (1-4 learners)
• Achieving linguistic aims in the shortest possible time requires the constant practicing of Bahasa Indonesia through one-on-one interaction. This is best achieved between a student and mentor or among a small collegial group/family.

Bahasa Indonesia Class Schedule:
• LSI clients design their own regular weekly lesson schedules in accordance with their lifestyles, studying as extensively or intensely as they wish - from two sessions per week to two sessions per day.

• To ensure regular progress, LSI recommends that clients’ Bahasa Indonesia language training involve a minimum of two or three sessions per week, spaced throughout the week.

• For those with the availability for more intensive study, LSI strongly suggests five sessions per week, Monday through Friday (particularly for Beginners)
