Study interior design in Italy with Accademia Riaci - a leading art and design school in the heart of Florence. We provide a range of interior design courses to Italian students and international students from around the world, including a professional one-year master course, a two-year basic course, academic year and semester programs, as well as short courses, summer courses and winter courses. Our two-year basic course is taught in Italian only. All of our other courses are taught in Italian with English and Spanish interpreters. We keep our class sizes small (approximately 8 students per tutor) to ensure that each student gets the individual attention that they need.

Course Duration: 2 years. Taught in Italian only

In this comprehensive course, you will explore the art and architecture of interior design, and learn how to solve problems in commercial, residential, public, and special use spaces.

You can choose to focus on one of the following areas:
- Interior Design
- Furniture Design
- Interior Coordination

Taught by expert tutors in a professional studio environment, this interior design program emphasizes design methodology, presentation techniques, and fabrication skills, allowing you to express your design effectively through models, drawings, and full-scale finished projects. 

• One-Year / Semester Interior Design Programs
Taught in Italian with English or Spanish interpreters

This is an accelerated program, giving you the unique opportunity to acquire a wide range of techniques and knowledge related to your field of study.

You can choose to focus on one of the following areas: Interior Design; Furniture Design; Interior Coordination 

Immersed in a stimulating learning environment, you will not only acquire a solid foundation in your area of study, but also develop specific, advanced skills.

- Basic Art Lessons (Basic Painting, Color Theory, 3D Drawing, Art History)

A Diploma is issued to those who pass the final exam.

• Atelier Course:
This course follows the same curriculum as the One-year Course, but does not include the Basic Art Lessons. 

• Interior Design Master Diploma Course
Academic Year & Semester study options available. Taught in Italian with English or Spanish interpreters

Focusing on advanced studio and academic research in history, theory and methods as they relate to an interdisciplinary approach to interior design, our Master in Interior Design program is of particular interest to practitioners in interior design, architecture and other related disciplines, and to graduates of various design programs who wish to pursue post-professional study.

There are four components to the program:

- A core design studio sequence
- Furniture design
- Lectures/seminars
- Projects

The core design studio sequence consists of a series of experiences of increasing complexity culminating in the thesis project, which is presented to a graduate faculty jury for evaluation.

- Interior Design Summer Courses: Study for 2 / 4 / 6 / 8 / 12 weeks
