Taunton School:
Taunton School is an independent boarding and day school for boys and girls aged 0 to 18 years. It is widely accepted that the role of games in schools is an important one. At Taunton School, our aim is not simply to pay lip service to that but to implement a range of games which enable boys and girls to gain the benefits from their participation. The major games are: Rugby; Hockey; Netball; Cricket; Tennis

There are teams in each of these games - often as many as ten per sport - and pupils are coached by knowledgeable and enthusiastic staff who willingly give of their time to take practices and matches. The School is very fortunate with the quality of its coaching staff and a number of the major games involve staff who have played or coached at national level.
