Team Leader, Warehouse

For an international logistics service provider, we are looking for a driven Warehouse Team Leader Aalsmeer who keeps overview, works alongside the team on the warehouse floor, and motivates colleagues to deliver their best every day. You ensure the warehouse operation runs smoothly, safely and efficiently.

• ⚙️ You lead and supervise warehouse employees and make sure the daily warehouse operation runs efficiently.
• 🤝 You actively work alongside the team on the warehouse floor and support where needed.
• 📦 You coordinate air freight activities such as loading, unloading, building and preparing shipments for dispatch.
• ✈️ You ensure aircraft pallets and ULDs are built correctly according to procedures.
• 🔍 You check shipments for damage, discrepancies or missing items and take action immediately when needed.
• 🦺 You monitor safety, planning and quality standards during the operation.
• 🎓 You train new colleagues and continuously support the development of your team.
• 📈 You contribute to process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce delays.
• 🔄 You coordinate with other departments in the logistics chain to ensure smooth cooperation.

You will work in different shifts, including morning, day and evening shifts.
Occasionally, you may be scheduled for weekend shifts.

• 🎯 You have an MBO+ level of thinking and working.
• 🏢 You have at least 3 years of experience in logistics or air freight.
• 🛂 You are willing to obtain required certificates such as the Air Freight Employee certificate, VOG/VGB or related certifications (we will arrange this for you).
• 🧑🏫 You are able to motivate, manage and develop a team.
• 🌍 You have a good command of Dutch and English.
• 🚜 You have a valid forklift certificate.
• 🗣 You have strong communication skills, you are solution-oriented and you have a hands-on mindset.

For a fast-growing logistics service provider in the flowers and plants industry in Aalsmeer, we are looking for a Team Leader.
