• To be a lead mentor/ educator one would need at least an associate degree and would have a background in science and ideally some familiarity working with children.
• To be an assistant mentor/educator preferably we would like you to have a background in science, but it is not necessary and/or a familiarity or desire to work with children.
• Several of these students primarily speak a language other than English ability to work with students in other languages, especially Spanish, is valued in instructors.

• A Degree in a related subject from an accredited university Eg. a Degree in Art for a Art teacher etc.
• Ideally, I will prefer candidates with a teaching license eg. B.Ed, PGCE, etc in a related subject
• Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years teaching in an international school( offering IB, British, or American Curriculum)
• The candidate should have an excellent command of both written and spoken English
• Be able to supply at least 2 education/school-based references
• No open university degree is accepted based on our clients' demand
• An up-to-date Police Check

• Cache Level 3 and above from a recognized training institute is needed
• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field is beneficial
• Proven experience as a Montessori Teacher, preferably in an international setting.
• Strong understanding of Montessori philosophy, materials, and methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Passion for fostering a love of learning and nurturing the holistic development of children.
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes independence, respect, and collaboration.
• Familiarity with the United Arab Emirates educational system and cultural context is an advantage.
• Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of Arabic is beneficial.

• Cache L5 or Degree in Early Childhood
• An M.Ed in Early Childhood is preferred
• A Montessori diploma would be beneficial
• Ideally, experience Managing Nurseries in the Middle East
• Up-to-date knowledge of the EYFS and Montessori
• A MINIMUM of 5 years of Nursery Manager experience is mandatory to get approval by ADEK

- Teachers of English, Math, Science, Language Arts

Qualifications:

• Minimum two years experience working with preschool-aged children preferred.
• Completing hours toward a Bachelor's degree or higher in early childhood education, child development-family studies, early childhood special education, or elementary education with a concentration in early childhood education or equivalent is highly desirable.

ust obtain prior to teaching at Youngset:

• Criminal background check and registry in Oregon Department of Education’s Central Background Registry.
• Current First Aid and CPR for children.
• Immunizations/negative TB test result.
• RRCAN certification
• Food Handlers Permit
• Child abuse training
