Pay Range

Base pay range: $21.00/hr – $21.00/hr

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Community Manager to join our team at Havens of Abbeville. The ideal candidate will have experience working with LIHTC tax credit properties, possess strong leasing skills, and have prior experience as an assistant community manager. This role supports the Community Manager in the daily operations of the property to ensure a well‑maintained, safe, and welcoming community for all residents.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Community Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the property.
  • Support leasing activities including showing units, processing applications, and executing lease agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with LIHTC tax credit regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Respond promptly to resident inquiries and maintenance requests.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to leasing, resident files, and compliance.
  • Assist with rent collection and follow‑up on delinquencies.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed.
  • Participate in community events and initiatives to foster resident engagement.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience as an Assistant Community Manager or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with LIHTC tax credit compliance.
  • Proven leasing experience, including tenant screening and lease execution.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Proficient with property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in property management is a plus.
