Crawfish laborer

Workers will be required to prepare crawfish traps for distribution, bait ponds, bait crawfish traps, harvest traps, bag crawfish, weigh and label bags, rebait and re-distribute crawfish traps, repair damaged traps, store traps after harvest season. Workers may perform general farm labor such as cleaning shop, house yard, shop yard, boats, etc. Workers must not be afraid of water hazards such as snakes, alligators, etc.

Workers may be drug tested post-hire at no cost to the worker to ensure worker safety and keep in compliance with workers compensation guidelines. Failure to comply or testing positive may result in immediate termination. Workers must be physically able to perform all duties. Workers agree to follow all work and safety rules.

Housing:
Employer-provided (including mobile or range)

Meals:
House has free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities and if offered free of charge to the workers. Workers will be taken once weekly to stores to purchase groceries and other necessities.

Transport:
Workers will choose the mode of transportation for inbound and outbound transportation. Workers will be reimbursed by the employer for the cost of transportation of the most economical mode of transportation and cost incurred from the place of origin to the place of employment upon 50% completion of the contract and return transportation from the place of employment to the place of origin or to subsequent H2A employment upon completion of the contract, any extensions or upon no cause termination
