Experienced Senior Accountant at BE Power

BE Power Equipment is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our Abbotsford team. This role encompasses full-cycle accounting, financial statement preparation, and US tax filings.

In this Senior Accountant position, you'll be responsible for various financial responsibilities, including managing bank reconciliations and ensuring compliance in a multi-entity environment. We seek a self-driven professional with excellent analytical skills capable of thriving in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise month-end closing and reconciliations

• Analyze financial impacts for our product lines

• Manage customer rebate tracking and audits

• Prepare weekly cash flow forecasts

• Maintain procedures and controls within the accounting team

Requirements:

• 2+ years experience in a Senior Accountant or equivalent role

• Familiarity with ERP systems and strong Excel skills

• In-depth knowledge of Canadian & US GAAP

• Superior interpersonal skills, both written and verbal

• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
